yes, it was intense. I don’t want to spoil the ending, since the suspense in this thing is great. where did that croc come from? wow, that was wild. I love that the 10 buffalo came back with like 30 more. Man, how does that work, they go back to the herd and say “hmmmmphhh, rrrrr, hmmmmmph, rrrr” and then 30 buffalo say, “ok, let’s do this,” and it’s on. Good brawl, kinda like … Jets v. Sharks (segue: court interpreter yesterday looked exactly like a young Rita Moreno) Capulets v. Montagues (unsure if Michael York was better as Logan in Logan’s run or as Tybalt) Greasers v. Soc’s (Matt Dillon as Dallas Winston: “ain’t gonna be no rumble without me”, was the buffalo who flipped that lion in the air, truly the “holy crap” moment of the video) Michael Jackson’s bad ass gang of breakdancing gang-bangers v. the other bad ass gang of breakdancing gang-bangers in the Beat It video
I wanna know who the dumbass buffalo was that led them into that trap anyway. Surely they demoted him or something?
The most interesting part of that was when the lions were surrounded by the buffalo on 3 sides with the water behind them they still didn’t retreat backwards…knowing that the crocs were waiting and were pissed that they’d already missed one meal that morning.
I liked the lion v. croc tug-o-war over the baby buffalo. kinda reminds me of when the boys were tug-o-warring over their baby sister …

Unbelievable, I used to go to Kruger on lay overs with PAN AM, back in the days. I saw some amazing stuff, but this video is incredible.

I enjoyed the buffalo thinking out a good angle shot , while the bad ass lion holds his ground . When the horn dug under the lion and had him airborne , he thought "I’m screwed " .
I figured the mother would protected the baby , Mom just ran . If it was a grizzly & cub you would have seen some lion parts fly .
Way, way cool. It’s amazing that that calf survived the encounter.

I thought, after the calf was safe, the buffalo were going to charge the lions, knocking them into the water, where … of course … the crocs were going to get revenge for losing the “calf-tug-o-war”. It could happen.
