Broken pictures and links, not just me?

So I’m getting no pictures and no decent links when trying. It seems when embedding an image link for say: http://an.image.file in the editor will actually embed http://http//an.image.file as the link in the posting. It shows this in the posted link “properties” as well as my browser status line.

Similarly, for textual link http://a.destination.page becomes http://http//a.destination.page

Has something changed on the script? Maybe in implementing the make-images-fit-browser modification something got blown away.
I am using Firefox for posting, i checked IE7, same deal on reading, haven’t tried posting via IE7.

Must I change a browser setting?

I’m having the same issue. Can’t see any photos that people are posting.

Started last night, there was a thread about this in the Lavender room last night.

and in fact, what I had hoped to show in the links above is NOT showing. (Remove spaces in some of the text that follows), since the text between the opening h tt p: // and the second h tt p // in my first posting is not showing. so what I was trying to say was (remove spaces)

http://some.address is showing up as h tt p: // h tt p //some.address

here is my attempt at a manual fix, inserting manually and around an address, and here I use a real one so I know the click will work. Looks like the editor function is changed in how we enter links into the textbox?

Yep. Pictures I posted in the Classified that worked for several days our now Red X’s.
