Bringing bikes across Mex. border?

There shouldn’t be a significant hassle factor taking bikes in bike cases across the border going from San Diego to the Baja race next week, should there? or do you think we’ll have to open up all the cases, etc?

You can never tell with the Mexican border people - I worked for 3 years across the border and it was hit and miss if they wanted to see what I had in the car - I expect that a bike case may peak their interest until they have seen a few.
