Here are the facts, according to Brian286, freestyle, et al:

  • Lance is lazy because he sits-in
  • USPS are pussies

If that’s really the case, then this should be easy money for you guys.
I suggest for each of the remaining stages:

  • I bet $100 per stage that Jan can’t put more than 1:30 on Lance
  • I pay another $100 if Jan wins AND puts over 1:30 on Lance
  • I pay another $300 if Jan wins the GC
  • You bet $100 that Lance can’t put more than 1:30 on Jan
  • You pay another $100 if Armstrong wins AND puts over 1:30 on Jan
  • You pay another $300 if Lance wins the GC

Both riders must start and finish the stage for it to count.

Brian? freestyle? The offer is open until today at 12:00 noon MDT (45 minutes). Feel free to change the $ amounts if you want, but it must stay consistent.

Seems like a sucker bet. Lance *is *already in the lead and Jan’s way back. They’d be throwing away $300.

That’s like your bb team being up by 17 going into the 4th, and then asking someone to bet with you on even terms.

I don’t think freestyle’s allowance is enough to cover those bets…

If Lance is lazy and USPS are pussies, then really it’s a sucker bet on my part.
