I’m an American currently on holiday, with my wife, in London. Yesterday there was something going on around the government center, so much traffic and closures we had to abandon the Uber and walk. Something about the PM in the area we were told. Walking the streets full of protesters, banners, blokes with mega phones… quite a scene. What should we expect for the next week? Where can I go to see some real fireworks with British guvmnt? I would love to sit in on one of those parliament session where each side more or less just yells at the other side.
Amazing weather here for the area. Went to a park and regular business dudes in suits were flailing off their clothes and parading around in their “pants†(undies to us yanks). Got to get that suntan when you can.

If I were you, I’d go to the maquis in Covent garden / at Martins Lane Charing Cross or anchor and hope in the cut and have a non touristy drink
Or market porter in Borough Market then go to roast for dinner
Just left Covent Gardens. Had tons of fun. Had drinks at four different spots just wandering around. Lots of fun for us. Tomorrow we are off to the Borough Market, then up to the Shard for cocktails. Thanks to you, Kiki, and Kay, for some fantastic advice.

They just don’t give a flying f*** who they offend or piss off because they want the place to burn down. What I really want is for them to use parliamentary rules to create gridlock and basically make the EU kick out the UK (That should be the back up plan, just have the UK veto everything if the EU won’t let them out on good terms).
