During my ride yesterday evening, I splattered a bug on my sunglasses. Never happened before. I felt fast. I’m sure Lance has these problems.
well, this year, I got stung 3 times by a bee or a wasp while riding!! including once during IM Brazil a wasp got stuck on my stomach and as I am pretty low, had trouble finding the way out, so stung me twice around km 15…still have the mark…if that idiot had stung the achille, maybe I would have finished! I heard people use bees at times for inflammation…sting where the infl. is…I remember tennis player Thomas Muster (aka Musterminator) doing this on his knee, years ago.
that sucks, once at an outdoor swimmeet when i was young and restless (13 years old) my relay team was getting ready for our heat when i was just play fighting with my friend robbie, i gave him a good kick to the 'nuts’and moments later a wasp stung him in his belly button. We did the fastest relay time we’ve ever done.
oh…no shit!?
man, is all you do all day is sit on this message board??? don’t you ever sleep… or train??? (just messin’)
that’s what happens when you work in computer science…when I don’t train I am on my computer…and ST is open pretty much all the time…unless I am getting really close to a deadline for a grant proposal or paper…next deadline july 19 few days before won’t be here so much
.
Are you in Montreal??? I see the link for les antilopes…

I was thinking about swimming with you guys next thursday… Marie-Elaine said I can join…But I have to be downtown by 7:30am… probably not gonna work. Do you know where to run from Berri/Ontario? Can I PM you if you do?
you can pm if you like, i know all there is to know about montreal(sorta) i don’t swim with the antilopes, because well i have my own swim team so i basically do my practices with my team. why u coming to montreal?
last week, I was riding in the heat, had my shirt unzipped halfway, talking to another guy (about tris). a bee flew right down my shirt and came out the bottom without stinging.
You can pick up all sorts of trails around lake simcoe if you are refering to Barrie.

If you make it to TO, the Humber river trail is very nice also.
I got stung by a bee on a century ride. Made the last 25 miles pure misery. Also almost swallowed a deer fly. Fortunately I spit it out before it could sting me.
I got stung on the back of the head the week before last swimming in the pool. That was odd.
A few years ago, I played ultimate frisbee. Somehow, I got stung and I had so much adrenaline going through my body that I sprinted the entire time for like 3 points and I never felt winded. After those 3 points, I was dead.
