API is reporting that according to a person far removed from Kardashian herself, that the sometime actress and reality star ended her 72 day marriage to Kris Humphries after seeing front-running GOP Candidate Herman Cain eating a McRib and then licking some extra sauce from his lips upon finishing the pork laden sandwich on TV before a Republican Debate.

The unnamed source claimed that Kardashian upon seeing this on the news became so traumatized by the image that it was not long before things started heading south for the newlywed couple. The source stated that Kardashian screamed, “Why is he hitting on me like that?”

API attempted to contact Cain’s camp for comment. Our calls were not returned.
