Anyone in the NY Metro area have any experience buying a bike there?

I grew up in wantagh, bought everything from my first dirtbike to my Trek 5500 there 4 years ago. Great guys, best service I ever had, very patient, If you know your stuff, they respect you, and if you dont, they will help teach you. Cant remember the guys who worked with me though, unfortunately, Im sure they are still there. They can get just about everything. Dont know how qualified they are for tri-bike fit, I defer that to Paul Levine…If I still lived around there and not in the city, I would get ALL my bike stuff at Brands.
I have never bought anything there (life in suffolk) but I know several people that have bought stuf there and the have always been happy. I have only heard good things.
I would whole heartedly agree with SByers adn say that you are doing yourself a disservice if you want a fit in the metro area and don’t go to Paul Levine… If you are going to spend several thousand dollars to get seconds faster a couple hundred to get minutes faster is a bargain (an exageration of course)
