You know you need a 2nd or 3rd 'crosser to be considered a player. Here’s a cheap way to get started. I have a brand new Scattante XRL 57 cm aluminum cross frame with a carbon fork/aluminum steerer + headset. Top-routed cables, 31.8mm clamp-on front derailleur, English BB, 27.2mm seatpost, 57 cm top tube, 73 degree head and seat angles. Has water bottle bosses, fender eyelets front and back and rack eyelets, so also excellent for a commuter bike. Scattante was the SuperGo house brand. Was going to be my winter commuter, but I got a Ritchey BreakAway to take advantage of a travel opportunity. The frame was never assembled, uncut steerer, has the headset cap, the rear cable guide, a spare deraillleur hangar and the manual. Some very minor shop marks, otherwise as it left Taiwan or wherever. $225 + shipping, CONUS only
Regards,
Brian
