Any one tried the BP Valdora AC-Tri compact alu frame
.
I came very close to buying one of these frames a few months ago. I passed because of a lack of funds, but the frame looks pretty good. I’d think it would be a good deal.

Have had one for about a month. I spent several months shopping for a tri bike, upgrading from a nice road bike. I’m also 51 with a chronic L4/ L5 disk problem so wanted a tri bike with a relatively high head tube. LBS tried to sell me a $5,000 carbon Kuota road bike, then I walked into Tribe Multisport here in Scottsdale. Kevin (owner) made a couple of suggestions and then put me on the Valdora vs other possibilities like a custom Elite or Guru.
Out the door, with FSA drivetrain, dura ace kit, Bontrager Racelite wheels and carbon bars etc about $2500.
I am very comfortable, have done several 3+ hr rides on it. Only modification I need is a smaller casette- the 11-23 is tough on my lower back so getting a 12-27 for now. Probably should have gotten compact cranks, so maybe shange over to that next year. Other than that I love the bike.
