Who all is in?
Any STers that want to say hello, stop by in the area behind the stage after the race. I’m 6’3" and will have on a blue sleeveless pearl izumi race shirt and a black timex visor…

I will be there with bells on. Look for me in the medical tent getting oxygen!

I am in, will probably break out the ST shirt race morning so I will be easy to spot. I will be riding a blue p2k with HED3 wheels.

I’m in-always a fun one. Old Stage never gets any easier, however.
I’ll be the skinny guy they pull out of the res.
Anybody know the policy on dogs at the res? I thought it says “no,” but I’ve also seen dogs there.
I’m in. I’ll be in my Twin Cities Triathlon Club skin suit.
I will be bringing mine! He will not be happy to have traveled all the way from Detroit just to sit in the car!
I have seen dogs there too, but only in cars. They are not allowed though in the park during the summer so I would leave them at home to avoid any hassles. Plus as hot as it is if you get hassled you won’t be able to leave them in the car.
See my post about the dogs, here is a link to verify http://www.ci.boulder.co.us/parks-recreation/RESERVOIR/regulations.htm
I would leave him at a friends or anywhere but your car, it will be way to hot to leave him in a car.
At all the Boulder Races last year and this year I have seen many dogs at race site. I know the “policy” does not allow but it appears many people do not follow this rule.
My wife and I are both in. This is her first tri and she is not looking forward to Old Stage but she’ll get there. I’ll be the guy on the blue Guru cursing all the way to the top.
Right, it just wouldn’t be the Boulder Peak we all know and love without a nice 15% grade climb.
I’m in, it’s an annual thing.
I’m on a red softride rocket, w/zipp disc. I’ll be running proud with the ST hat on.
Remember don’t throw both lungs getting over Old Stage, you’ll need at least one for the run!
I am in. I rode the course yesterday, that is one beastly hill!
It is basically one long uphill from the res to the top. My mistake in past years has always been going out too fast. The steep part is not that long, it’s the build-up.
Have Fun.
BTW: I don’t know if he’s doing it this year, but Neal Henderson has always given a talk at about Noon. It’s worth the time to listen to it.
I’m in. I just got done looking at the winners in my age group from last year. Those guys are so fast. If only I could run I would be competitive. Oh well–try and teach an old swimmer how to run–to no avail.
I’m in Oregon right now, but will be there next year. I promise.
Allright it’s on! Looks like it is going to be a toasty day once again. I was glad to hear that they are getting 2,400 lbs of ice delivered for the race (although the rd said much of it will be dedicated to keeping the post race beer cold).
I went for a swim in the rez today and will definately go sans wetsuit. It’s like bath water.
Good luck tomorrow everyone.
You might have seen me at the race. I was the guy that the ref used to demostrate the passing–blocking rules

Yep.
