Hey, all,
Check out the results of today’s TT on Velonews.com. Botero murdered the 47K TT in 1:00.6 and Levi Leipheimer came in at 1:00.7. Lance came in 3rd. Botero is a monster on the TT (world champ in 2002). I’m glad to see he’s coming back after the big sleep at T Mobile. I always like him, and I like that he’s from down South.
Comments?
Best,
Robert
I’ll comment.
That was an impressive ride for Botero. But I’ve lost a lot of money betting on that guy in the past. I’ll be interested to see how he does on Mt. Ventoux tomorrow. He’s lost HUGE time there in the past – even before the T-Mobile slump. I know he’s not a climber, but at the time he bombed on Ventoux, he was well up on GC.
As for Lance, I’d bet he did all he cared to do today. I think he wants to win tomorrow on Ventoux. Tomorrow’s the day we learn if Lance has gotten down to business or not.

Dude, when declaring a spoiler, you’re not supposed to put the result in the title! (Just so you know for that big race next month).
The result was already in another thread. My money says the Dauphine only gives us a clue as to what to expect next month, remember how LA got written off for the tour after last year’s thrashing up Ventoux. I doubt people will be writing him off so easily this year, if someone puts a couple of minutes into him tomorrow.
Interesting that there are now no Europeans in the top 6 overall.
Two comment only…
that’s PHONAK’s bomb working AGAIN and
can someone call the fashion police to work with Floyd Landis BEFORE the Tour?
