What a fun race…and my first time ever seeing an ITU race up close. Pretty damn cool…I highly recommend it! only weird thing about it was the two-loop 5k (strange. can’t get a 1.5 mi out and back?) and the lack of knowledge on penalties. Lots of times I had guys passing me on the right, and I had to quickly step it up to not get a blocking penalty!! But a beautiful day, fun swim, and great view of Barb Lindquist!
