i’m curious about the fit(narrow, curved last, straight, etc.)

I’m looking for a new set of shoes too. I ordered a set of PI Tri Fly Carbon III but they aren’t comfortable without socks. Next was a set of Shimano TR50. They are much better and probably would serve me well but I’m still looking. My previous shoes were LG Carbon TriAir and they’ve been good for a few years. The easiest thing would probably to pick up the LG Tri Air Compo which looks like the replacement. These Bontragers look really nice though. After a comfortable fit I’m looking for vight weight and good ventilation. Anyone know what the RXL Hilo weighs?

I don’t have the Hilo, but I have the RXL Road. Just a smidge shorter than but similar width as the same size in a Nike or a Specialized - maybe go up 1/2 size (i.e. 45 to 45.5 in my case). The eSoles footbed is very comfortable. Fit impressions are just on around the house feel since I just got them and have not had a chance to get on the road.

I don’t know about the exact weight. They don’t feel significantly lighter or heavier than average. Pretty light (just like most high-end shoes) but not “holy cow, I can’t believe it” light.
