I’m thinking about getting a pair of Bont Sub 9s but don’t know if the sizing chart is correct on their website. I normally wear a 10.5, but when I do the measurements according to their website and plug in the numbers, it tells me I’m a size 9. Anyone else have this issue?

They do run larger than other shoes. I wear 49 Bonts and probably 51 in most other makes. When you do the sizing measurements be sure to follow their directions and add in the appropriate amount extra for toe room. If I recall correctly it’s something like an additional 5mm to the length of your foot.
YMMV,
Hugh
Definitely follow the measurements on the website, they’re pretty spot-on. I usually wear 45-45.5, and got 46.5 with my A-2s. The fit is excellent.
My surest bet on getting the right sizing with different brand shoes has been to follow the european sizing. I wear 46. One brand will say their shoe is an 11 and another brand will say 11.5. Get the current euro sizing of your shoe and that should be extremely close to a correct fit without trying them on. I love my bonts.
Thanks for the advice everyone. I just pulled the trigger.
The Bont shoes I have (don’t recall which ones) have an exceptionally low stack and required me to lower my saddle a bit. Their fitting instructions suggested that. I didn’t really believe it. But when I went for my first ride, I could tell. Had to drop the saddle and remove a spacer under the stem.
FYI
Good to know. Thanks Bobby.
Just to add one more experience. I ordered some Bont 41Euro/7.5US and normally wear a 8.5US shoe. Normally 41-41.5 Euro. I think the Bont’s length are perfect for my foot.
Also, I used their online size measurer and it said I should wear a 41.
