BMC TM01 or Scott Plasma Premiun

Hi, I am looking for un upgrade on my bike and have these 2 in mind I tested both and are excellent but i don´t kow how easy are to set up.
Anyone has experienced on that? I´ve traveled a lot with my cannondale slice and it is quite easy to set up and trying to upgrade, i don´t want to create an additional problem to travel!
tanks a lot rodrigo

I have a TM01 and have travelled with it quite often. Very easy.
I have a small torque wrench and can pack/unpack my bike in a few minutes.

I end up having to remove seat, bars, derailleur and pedals for my biknd bag

thank you so much, really helpful.
Are you happy with your TM01?

Very happy.
My only beef was that the rear brake is hard to work on. I ended up having to buy 23mm wide training wheels since I had 23mm race wheels. I don’t have to swap brake pads. I am not sure how hard/easy that would be.

good advice. thanks a lot.

There’s a rather large TM01 owners thread on here that has others’ experiences with maintaining this bike. (Spoiler: unfortunately it’s not as rosy as made out here!)

Still, beautiful bike.

thanks a lot, i will check it. regards

There is already a large thread comparing these two bikes…
Take away is that the Plasma is a faster frame for sure… As stated by one of cervelos top engineers

What bike bag are you using? I have a TM01 and a Pika Packworks. I have to disassemble the head set to drop the base bar and aerobars. I’m also travelling with a small torque wrench. The big headache is having to rescrew the plastic cap that goes over the shifter cables…it needs to come off to give me enough play to turn the base bar to the side. If I weren’t so cheap and would upgrade to Di2 that problem would go away. I would say it takes me, going slowly about 20 mins to re-assemble the bike +/- 5 mins depending on how lucky I am with that damn plastic cable cap.

I am using the biknd. I have DI2 so maybe that’s why it’s easy for me. I remove the 4 screws, take off the cover that holds the base bar and I just turn it to the side.

Definitely need Di2 if only for that reason. The cables barely fit under the cap; wires would make it sooooo much easier.

Plasma premium. it’s a very fast bike. don’t own one, but have wrenched my friends one. it’s easy.
