BMC SLC01 ProMachine, 59cm w/Campy group & wheels; GOING WAY CHEAP!

This bike needs a home. It’s a great ride, well-used but 100% functional, light, stiff, fast etc. I live in an apartment, and I have limited storage space and too many other bikes, so this one needs to go. National office has instructed us to liquidate all stock regardless of loss, we will not be undersold, etc.

The frame and fork are made of Easton Nanotube carbon fiber. The group is a mix of Campagnolo Chorus and Centaur; wheels are Campagnolo Protons. (Complete build info below).

This bike has been well-used through several seasons or training and racing. The finish on these naked-carbon BMC bikes is pretty fragile, and there are numerous small chips and imperfections in the carbon clear coat, including a chip near the bottom bracket from a dropped chain, several blemishes on the rear stays from hitting sticks etc., plus the usual cable rub and so forth. To set your mind at ease, I recently had the bike overhauled by a BMC dealership and checked out thoroughly; the carbon throughout the frame is in perfect shape. The Nanotube carbon is tough as nails, and this frame has many many thousands of miles of life left in it. I mention these imperfections to make sure the buyer knows what they are getting: a 100% functional, light, stiff bike that has been well-used but also well cared for.

I had this bike built as a winter/training bike; the gruppo is mid-level, but extremely functional and very tough. The Campy Proton wheels are true, round, and bulletproof. I had Campy 10-speed Chorus shifters on this bike, but very recently replaced them with new Centaur Carbon 10-speed shifters. These have the new lever shape, which I find much more comfortable; the shifters have under 500 miles use on them.

Here’s the build:
Fork: Easton EC90 SLX full-carbon
Wheels: Campagnolo Proton, hubs JUST overhauled, lubed and fresh bearings installed. Maybe 50 miles on these since the overhaul.
Crank, BB: Campy Record Square Taper, 175mm
Chain: Campy Record 10speed, well-kept with ~3000 miles on it. No elongation according to Park chain checker
F. Der: Campy Centaur
R. Der: Campy Chorus
Shifters: 2010 Campy Centaur Carbon, new lever shape
Cassette: Campy Chorus (I think), 12-25
Brakeset: SRAM Force
Stem: Ritchey WCS 110mm
Bar: FSA RD200, classic bend
Post: Easton EC70 carbon
Saddle: Selle Italia Flite
Bottle cages: Forte’ Carbon

too bad you cut the fork so short
.

Well, if you can’t get a stem that makes it work for you, you can always pick up a new, uncut fork for $100 or so on eBay…

BUMP. This bike is on eBay, ends today and likely to go for under $1500!
