Anyone had experience with these? I currently swim in Speedo Vanquisher womens. When are the 09 colors going to be available on the webpage?

Call them and ask. Next get some real goggles: sweedish.
They are the only goggles I swim in. I love em! Cant wait to ge the new colors.
I tried some blue70 goggles the other day. I’m not sure if they were element or vision. But the fit was great. I normally swim in swedes, but have had some problems lately with them putting pressure on my eyeball and I can’t get them adjusted right so I dug out the blue70s that I won at a tri last year. The ones I tried have a blue tint them, which at first I liked. But when I was swimming in open water I passed a couple of people and the blue tint made them look green/muddy/brown. It freaked me out. At first I thought they were both swimming in brown/green rash guards. then I stopped and adjusted the goggles and realized it was from the tint of the goggles. For some reason I couldnt’ get over that I was swimming in the ocean with people that were the same color as the incredible hulk.
If they have different lens colors I might try them again. They were very comfortable.
I love mine. I’ve used them in outdoor pools, open water (salt and fresh) and indoor pools. So far, no disappointments!
Funny thing - I picked up my wife’s Speedo Vanquisher womens goggles at a swim meet yesterday and stuck them on my eyes to see how they fit. Felt great, even if I did get a look from my daughter for having magenta goggles on. Now I have to try a pair of them for myself (I’ll try them mens first!).

The Blue Seventy goggles come in several different colors for both the Element and Vison styles: smoke, pink, orange and blue. They are supposed to be introducing some new colors and styles for 2009 but we haven’t seen them yet.
In our store they have sold surprisingly well, on par with TYR and Speedo goggles. They seem to fit a wide range of face types and have a pretty wide field of vision.

Even though I use the TYR socket rockets which are very similar to the Swedes they don’t fit everyone’s face.
I really like the white color too. Rumor also has it that 2 new models are on the horizon including a new women’s specific one.

I saw some prototypes at Interbike of the new models and they looked really nice. I can’t remember when they are supposed to be available though, probably in the next month as the 2009 inventory arrives. Blue 70 was finalizing the lense colors and nose piece design for the new ones.
I swam in a pair of Element goggles last year - until I lost them on a beach right before a race - they were the best goggles I’d ever used.

Correct my friend. we have three new styles, “Hydra-vision” open water goggles with massive peripheral vision, “Siren” womens goggles, designed specifically around the features of the female face, sockets and brow etc. And our first venture into a competitive pool goggle “RZR” designed around the “in-Socket” style demanded by the elite swimmer. We shall of course be sending images of these out to Slowtwitch first… just check your in box Herbert. All goggles available march 20th.
Thanks all, and do mail with any questions.
