Does anyone have this? i just picked one from local Fleet Feet Sports. On the way back trow the receipt and packaging. I don’t have OCD but does this thing is upside down???
Can’t you just wear it the other direction? Other than the printing, I fail to see how a race belt could be permanently upside down.
LOL! This sounded like a post I saw here last year. Somebody was complaining about gluing a tubular backwards to the front rim… ![]()
Yeah, it can be worn not a problem… just wondering if it was the “design” or I got the “special” one…

Mine is exactly the same and I had the same question. I actually raced with it right side up and it didn’t work very well.
Let’s ship these suckers back to Blue Seventy
I am really anal about these. 2 months ago I spend $12 to return a $7 tire lever.
Hi everyone,
The belts: are they right are they wrong. Funnily enough we had an intercompany (is that a word, should it be intra?) discussion about this after 2 of us were standing around after a race wearing our number belts and Guy (number 1 below) told me he thought our belts were upside down. The discussion went something like this:
The belts are printed upside down. Whats up with that, I mean I always have my number hanging as low as possible, and I like to have the toggles facing down, pointing away from my sensitive abdomen, which makes the printing wrong. Goh!
Whatever!, I always have my belt worn as low as possible, but the number bugs me rasping against my legs, so toggles up, that way the number sits higher, and is backed by the belt so it sits flatter, plus the toggles sit up out of the way too.
Is there a right or wrong answer, should we make two belts, perhaps the printing should alternate in order to keep everyone happy. Our jury is out. Let me know your thoughts: Please email us: myracenumberisupsidedown@blueseventy.com and put toggles up, or toggles down in the subject line. You’ll be able to see the results of the survey in next years belts… (inconclusive means they will be a split print…)
By the way, we first made belts after a couple of staff members had safety pins come undone on during the swim… this is really not pleasant.

I have a race belt (not B70 brand). I put the belt on, use the safety pins provided to attach my bib, then take it off & toss it in the transition bag.
I don’t use the bib-attaching technology on my current belt, and I wouldn’t bother with the technology on the B70 either.
That’s just me though. I don’t mind the extra 30 seconds that safety pins take to use, and they are pretty fail-safe.
Nice attempt at a public relations smooth over … I don’t buy it!

It’s not an error, it is a feature. It’s funny though someone in China can not figure out western alphabet, prints upside down and people here brainstorm about it.
Sell crazy somewhere else…
Please feel free to return the race belt to the address below. I shall ensure a refund is issued.

I wear mine right side up–works fine.
Are you kidding me? I’ll be saving it after reading this response… I know what brand of wetsuit I’ll be buying next.
PS: if you guys can make it like Zoot, that could solve the confusion and misunderstanding. The branding is faced to both directions.
