I’m sure there are people here who will attend this… I want to hear their reasons for doing so… seriously… man…

But Americans are willing to pay big bucks for their love affair with celebrity.

Francois, I agree that it’s not a cheap vacation. But we do stay in great hotels (not as important to some people for sure) and look after all the little details. It’s not everyone’s program for sure, but some like the luxury side of travel…

We’ve priced these trips to be as close to our regular vacation-trips as possible with $300 - $400 extra per person to cover the cost of having Tim along.

And I sympathise with your problems re: hotels in CDA - that does suck. I’ve stayed in some dodgy places at big races for the same reason.

If the price is too high for you, you can come to Missouri and train with me for 1/2 that. And training with me, you probably won’t get get dropped on the bike or run as you most likely will with Tim.

Don’t forget to dress warm,

                                   Dennis

Like so many others, I would pay $100 for a night with Francois!

Wouldn’t that send Slowman into a rit of fealous jage?!! (With credit, and apologies, to Peter Sellers, God rest his soul.)

no disrespect to Tim, but celebrity? I have a different perception of what celebrity is. I would like to train a bit with him, but I sure wouldnt pay a cent to do it.

Now, if it were Normann…

clm, who would rather train with Team Sweden/Cervelo

The high price of triathlon and everything associated with it are beginning to make me sick (and broke).
