We are currently in production. We are taking our retro theme to the 1980’s with this Mondrianescque design. Our take on the old La Vie Claire Jersey. La Vie Claire means “the clear life” and we offer similar phrases instead in Italian - La Dolce Vita, “the sweet life” and in Spanish - La Vida Chevere “the cool life.” Tastefully clad with De Soto and T1 Wetsuit logos, you are not a moving billboard, but you will be the most complimented on your group rides!
Made of De Soto’s own Skin Cooler™ Pique, with 3 pockets, and a 16-inch YKK front zipper.
This jersey is only available on our website and not sold at any store.
This is a limited edition garment.
Will ship mid-June 2009.
As an architect who studied Modernist work in school, I’m digging the jersey!! And since I’ve got V3.0, I just might have to save up the dough to get #4. You know, tough economic times and all that …
I like it! I think anyone who was a fan of cycling back in the day will really dig it, and some of the newer cycling fans who are interested in American cycling history will be interested as well. I recall a small run of 7-11 jerseys selling out pretty quickly a few years back…
I am ahuge Mondrian fan so I love the shirt. It would be ideal if the shirt was more in the true Mondrian style with the blocks not being blocks each being a single pure colour, but having some subtle variation to them. That gives more punch, more depth and more life, but that’s just my opinion.
The 80’s are retro now? Guess I’m getting old.The way I drive, that’s an achievement so I should be happy. hehehe
