Blackwell disc question

I’m loving my Lucero with its Blackwell 100mm wheels. We were on fire at the Hawaii 70.3 the other weekend, but I still have a long way to go to get to the pointy end of the age group.

I noticed a few other riders with Blackwell wheels, and wondered as the next step is the disc if anyone has used one and what the comparison was like? I’m thinking of asking the family to make a disc wheel my birthday present this year so that I can use it at the Singapore 70.3. That should confirm my insanity to my children!

I think that you could win a little time/speed with a disc - but I have no idea how much

e-mail them, you might be surprised at what is faster,i think the 100’s are almost the same as 100f and disc.

I am running the 100f and disc, but only cuz i will not be at hawaii anytime soon.

i use the 100 and the disk and love the combo, just a little tough in the wind

Thanks. I’ll drop them a line. There was an interesting article in the swimsuit edition Traithlete mag on a new zipp disc, but then it seemed like good advertising as well!
