I have one but the one in the picture looks slightly different. Maybe it was modified during a repair.
The stand worked fine for years until some threads in the clamp stripped. It could probably be fixed with a helicoil. I’ll probably see if the local bike coop wants it.
good for the price but guessing it’ll only fit a round tube bike… I’ve only seen one once but I remember the clamp pretty much only working well if you can clamp the top tube horizontally and it’s a traditional round tube frame.
any way to economically change the clamp?
doubt it, sorry… it’s pretty much two plates with some rubber grippers in there squeezed together with a bolt and big wingnut if I remember correctly, simple and works well but kinda limited on uses
way more but the Ultimate consumer stand is super nice…
