Does anyone have any experience with the Blackbird aerobar? I searched an found some dated posts, but I was looking for any recent experience with this bar.

I think it is in production.
They sell them at a local Houston shop. Saw it the other day at a tri tent.

Over 5 years in the making!? Whoever took 5 years to design that piece of cr@p should be shot. It’s way ahead of it’s time… for 1999. This is the first time I’ve heard of ugly unfinished welds promoted as a “feature”. I think I’ll pass.
This was supposed to be a Syntace product. When they were in California, I saw early prototypes that never made it to the market before that location was closed down and the person running US ops gone. I heard that German management was not supportive of pursuing an integrated bar at that time (or maybe just that particular product).
