Blackberry to iPhone (yay or nay)?

I don’t have 200 people working for me, right now its 9. Before we had an official policy for BB, people were allowed to choose an iphone. I can look through the bills without seeing the telephone numbers and tell who has an iphone (grandfathered) and who has a BB. Especially when travelling overseas. Seems like everyone’s iphone account has 5 - 20X the amount of data per month. I’ve had to reprimand people 3 times when overseas bills went >$1500/month. There are so many apps working in the background that is really data intensive, it snowballs. With BB’s, everything seems to take care of itself and the device gets used primarily for business. Much more reasonable bills. BB has unlimited data plans domestically, iphone = not unlimited.

YMMV

Thanks for all the feedback.

Long story short is I took my Curve into Verizon & after a little of this & that, it’s as good as new again. It’s works extremely well for what I need it for, so at this point I can’t justify throwing $200-$300 at what would essentially be another toy.

But buying toys – electronic, motorized, tri-related, or otherwise – is what will turn this economy around. Why do you hate America?

Good for you for getting it working. Just an FYI, never ever trust a phone salesman on iPhone vs Android. They get paid about 10x more commission on android phones, they might be a tad bias ;-).
