Black LG Vorttice

Last weekend at a race expo I saw a black LG Vorttice helmet with dark tinted visor sitting out on a table. Looked really badass. Looking around on the LG website and online I can’t seem to find anything like it though. Does something like this exist out there or was this a one off?

That might be the coolest looking helmet I have ever seen. Want.

Get in line bud. I’ve got dibs on the first one;)

I love that thing. I plan to get one before the season starts. I might even wear it for the run… umm, y’know, to keep the sun off my neck…

Lord Vader would approve of that helmet.

I have a LG Vorttice already but I’m really tempted to buy the all black one. That helmet is badass looking.

I have the original too but I’m pretty sure I’m going to have to get this one too. I saw it in person and it’s freaking sweet.

X2…just ordered mine.

I got the Vorttice for xmas, but was thinking of returning it for the Black Knight version. Is this at the retailers yet?

Anybody got pics of a Black Knight on their head, preferably front and side views?

Dude… where have you been?

Thanks for the great link.

Greg LeMond may have inadvertently benefited from a truncated aero helmet in the final time trial of the 1989 Tour de France since he rode with his head down frequently during the effort.

Greg had spoke about this at an appearance years back. Saying that the aerobars gave him a +8second advantage, however because he is a head down rider, the helmet took away 12seconds during his 89 TT.
