Obligatory lmgtfy. Since Dan here has one of the most detailed and transparent explanations for his optimization process.
Sure. We clean new chains, process them to smooth all the pins, plates and rollers, then wax them. Our wax also contains friction modifiers.
The micro surface process eliminates all the micro peaks thus extending both the life of the chain and reducing friction.

FYI - it does matter if you are trying to get gravel cranks versus road/tri. The Shimano GRX is wider so is not compatible with their standard road/tri stuff.

Iāve had a Sole S77 for about 1 1/2 years now. Solid and works well. Previously had a True, which was a tank, but it died after around 8 years of use.

I really wish you would do this with 12 speed sram chains. Not sure if same process is achievable but I would definitely buy!
We have done some 12 speed.
Iāll bring some in and see how they sell.
