Birthday swim (1)

A true birthday swim would be something like 63x50 on 63. That’ll teach the younguns who are bragging about only having to do 14 of them!

Maybe let aerojunkie do 14x25 on 14?

Jack LaLane is Chuck Norris?

My B-day is Dec. 31. What better way to ring in the new year than 28 x 100 on 1:45?

Jodi

Allan: for my 40th I did the same, 4000 in the pool, 40 miles on the bike, 4o minute run. My birthday is 10/4 TOOO!

6 years ago I was asked where I would like to go for my birthday. Morocco, Turkey, Costa Rica were suggested. No, said I to my aghast family, I’d rather celebrate in Muncie, Indiana. And so I did. A half ironman, precisely on my birthday, precisely matching race mileage for my mileage.

At transition 1, a friend left a card, a cupcake with a candle, a match, and a little balloon next to my bike. Of course I won my new age group. It was a wonderful birthday.

No one in my house listens to me when I obsess about swimming so I have to get it out here.
Today instead of doing 63 x 50s kick I did 6 X 500s kick with Zoomers on 8:20 send off (7:58, 7:52, 7:49, 7:55, 7:55 and 7:40).
I was a joyous day.

Happy B-Day Doug!
We celebrate Dave Beaudry’s b-day on July 4 weekend. Every year the same format, just add a rep, 60 x 50 on 1 minute, 60 miles of biking and a 60 minute run.

last year I celebrated turning 32 by doing my first ironman! Hows that for the gift that keeps on giving!

BTW- I could do 50s on 55 with zoomers, I need a clinic here in NY, (hint hint)

.

I am working on a weekend clinic in New York. It would be Friday evening, Saturday A.M., Saturday late afternoon and Sunday morning.

never kicked them, though.
