Is anyone here doing the binbrook duathlon this weekend? I was hoping you could answer a few questions for me.
Is it a good place for a family to spend the day afterwards? Two kids, 2 and 6.
Is it pretty fan friendly in terms of seeing athletes during the race?
Thanks for any feedback.
We will have a course preview up later today on Ontario Duathlon Central (duathloncentral.com). It is held at a nice conservation area with a nice big lake that definitely is nice to spend a day at, but just be aware the park is in the middle of nowhere. I was up there yesterday for a recon ride and saw nothing but farmland for a fair distance on all sides. Both runs and the bike are long out and backs and not looped courses, so the only real chance to see athletes is to hang out by transition to see the start/finish and the transitions. Otherwise you are stuck in one place with not much opportunity to see anything else.
Hope that helps!

It does, thank you.
