Bikesport Athletes: New Uniforms for Seahorse on Friday

For you guys currently flying the Bikesport flag at races around Michigan: Jim at Voler has agreed to send a small number of the new Bikesport/Lifetime Fitness/Red Bull triathlon uniforms to us via UPS Red Label Overnight Air for Delivery on Friday, June 4th for use at the 20th Annual Amercian Express Explorer Seahorse Anniversary Triathlon produced by 3Dsiciplines.

We will have enough uniforms for about five athletes- all size medium. So, efernand, jkmorrow (who is training that day I believe) and Ell Bruley as well as Todd Briggs, etc. come in Friday evening for your new garb. I will also bring any extra to the event.

The new uniform is inspired by the color scheme on the Mild Seven/Renault F1 race car. It was designed at 3:30AM while watching Formula 1 racing and buzzing on Red Bull.

I’m not sure. I doubt it. They would have to be very expensive. I think each one piece suit cost us on the order of $125 our cost. It is a complex, five color design.

Maybe we will sell a few at or near break-even if there are extras. Mostly, it is just to fly the flag on the backs of the finest ambassadors for the sport (and our store) in the Midwest.

It is an honor for us to provide these uniforms to talented athletes and fine people.
