Bike Wrap

Anyone have their bike wrapped in vinyl? Was is a DYI project, or did you have pay someone else? What is the cost for both?

I had Bicycle Makeover wrap my Cervelo P5x, both complete frame and wheels (disc in the back). Custom design. It’s been 4 years, but I think it was about $800 plus bike shipping.

I have vinyl wrapped two of my bikes. With the first bike, I had no experience with vinyl and watched a bunch of youtube videos of people wrapping cars. Absolutely can be a DIY project. Get the right tools, take your time and have fun.

I have two of my bikes and my helmet wrapped. Looks really good. I didn’t do full color swap since it has a black background, but got a bunch of accent colors and looks amazing. It was a few hundred bucks for it all, well worth it. I took it to a car wrapping shop locally that I had heard did some bikes, it’s done on the side. Stratton Motor Cars in Arizona if anyone is interested. Moxie also does it locally I believe.

I’m in Los Angeles where you can’t swing a stetched chain without hitting a vinyl auto wrapping joint. I’ve had two frames done - not the whole frame, just some selected sections to cover some bits I didn’t like and enhance the look. $80 and left it with 'em for 2 days.
