Looking for expert informed opinions (should be plentiful on this forum!). Presently riding a TREK road bike with clip-ons. Would I get more for my dollar by going to a Tri set-up (TREK equinox, Cervelo Dual, Felt S32), or spending half that amount on a set of sweet wheels?
The cliche “expert opinion” that you’ll get here is to get the one that fits. All three are nice bikes and good value for the money although I’m partial to the Dual myself.
If you are comfortable on the Trek and don’t have any problem with your hamstrings when running off a road geometry, then getting some good aero wheels may be the best option.
