Bike size-body measurement-stach & reach

starting from the body measure is possible find the right STACH end REACH ???
i’m italian (sorry for my english) and i’m goin to buy a new tt bike.I’m 5’77 with inseam 33.1 and trunk 23.42; i like very much cervèlo p3 and felt DA but i have many trouble for the size.
My road bike is a 54 but i think ( but i’m not sure) i need one size in less for ironman distance, and so i’ve seen teh cervelo site but there is only the 51 or 54:Wich one ?

maybe is better find R & S and then choose bike size ??

please help me

Well, the usual process is to either start with a bike that you already fit well or go for a professional fitting and then have your stack and reach determined.

But I don’t see why it would be impossible (perhaps a LOT of work though) to come up with a list of body measurements that would be able to prescribe a stack and reach.

You can go to the link below to find a recommended TRI bike fit…but I’m pretty sure the results are NOT in stack/reach. But once you have whatever results it does give (ie. seat tube, top tube, head tube…) you can probably translate those to stack and reach. (in fact, I think this site might have a stack/reach calculator you can use).
