So i take a week off of work, drive approx 700 miles to North Carolina and forget my helmet. Smooth, I know. I can either ride without one, or find a bike shop and borrow buy one for a couple of days. Since ill be shooting down 7% grades, ill opt for the helmet. I forgot to change my cassette too, stuck with a 11-21. I can deal with that. I’m looking for a shop around the Fontana area, near the smokey mountain national park. Thanks in advance.

Dude you are in the middle of nowhere and a beautiful place to ride. I grew up in a little town just east of you where there is a pretty good bike shop. Call them and see what they can do for you.
