Bike shoe brand comparison fit advice?

OK, lots of online shoe deals being advertised now. What is your experience on how the different brands compare in fit?

I am pretty comfortable in Sidi 43.5. I had diadora’s in 43 were OK (snug) with no socks which was fine for tri racing. I have a specialized MTB shoe in 43 that is good, but a road specialized 43 that is a bit big.

What say you about Carnac, Northwave, Lake, Vittoria, Time for fit???

For me with a wide foot and narrow heel. All with one pair of cycling socks.
