Bike/run or run/bike

This year I have a bit more time on my daily schedule to get in 2 workouts a day now. I have a really solid run base going and would like to add my bike training the same day also. Never have done this before and wanted to start off easy.

Is it best to get my run in first and then my bike or visa versa?

It has taken me many years to learn how to run and be injury free so I would assume a run in the morning on fresh legs would be better than a bike and run on tired legs.

Thoughts?

Either:
Do your weakest sport first in the day

or do whatever sport first in the day that creates the least stress in your life schedule wise.

As A race approaches, maybe trend to run then bike, for sake of specificity.

run first. definitely. for a number of reasons, one of which you touched on.

once again, me and jackmott agree on things…i m starting to think he is learning it all from me :wink:

do the weakest first

or

do the key session of the day first…be fresh for the workout that matter the most!
