Bike Repair Question. Can't figure out what this is called

I’m trying to install Dura Ace Deraiileur cables. I’ve got the brake cables on, and I’m fixing to install the Derailleur cables. On my old bike, on the down tube, there is a small plastic turning knob on the downtube. On this bike, I have either lost mine, or I can’t find it. I’ll have to order it but I do not know whether it is called a “cable adjuster” or cable stop or what the hell the magic secret words are, trying to go through all of these bike part catlogues.

I have circled a picture of the exact bike with that little black plastic knob. I don’t know what it is called.

The black plastic knob is part of the cable adjuster. The other part of the cable adjuster is the hollow metal bolt. The plastic merely gives you something to grip and turn. Their are a few different types of cable adjusters.

I’ve been on a similar quest for a while now. This is the best Third Hand/Loose Screws can do:

Unfortunately, you don’t need the stops, just the adjusters. I had a nice adjustment screw that cracked and have never been able to find something right to replace it with. In the meantime, I’ve just been using the barrel adjuster from an old rear derailleur-- most shops will just give you one. As to the real deal, Shimano’s adjusters have little notches in the plastic and are designed to engage similar notches in your bike’s brazed-on cable stops. Campy versions don’t have any notches. I’m going to start trying the iight versions of thread lockers to keep my indexing from shifting after riding bumpy roads.

Here’s a few other candidates from AEBike:

check here for the barrel adjusters:

They are called barrel adjusters. You do not strictly need them, and I cannot remember the last time I’ve ever used them on the fly. Just remove both sides and install your cables directly into the cable stops.

I think I found it, Tom. This might be what you want. Its called a head tube cable adjuster barrel stop, for bikes with the stop brazed on the head tube, ALREADY MANUFACTURED INTO THE FRAME, which is just a screw hole.

As opposed to the ones you screw into the downtube.
