Bike racers have it easy

I come from a long history of bike racing and I have to say that we/they have it easy. I dont know how you triathletes fit it all in. I’m trying to balance running and swimming and riding and some weight training and being a father and a husband and an employee and I feel like I’m chasing my tail most days. In my bike racing days I’d wake up in the morning and think “Oh it’s Tuesday tonight I’ll do a training race,” or “it’s Wednesday I’ll ride long tonight.” Not anymore. Now it’s what the f%$k day is it and what am i doing and do I have enough time. I think I’ll just shut up now and go ride my bike.

dont forget to schedule in some more time working on your bike, taking pics of it, and posting on slowtwich asking for help, then running back to make changes that strangers told you too;=)
