Bike question for you all

One of the local bike shops is offering a deal to Malibu Tri participants:

A 2011 Cannondale Slice Carbon 5 for $1400 (note: NOT the high-mod). Seems like a good deal, but I don’t see many people riding these bikes, and I have to consider that there may be a reason why.

There’s some potential there for sure, $1400 is a nice price. It’s the Shimano 105 components that help make it so affordable. The most important aspect is fit. Sounds like you’re in my neighborhood.
