frogonawire got me thinking. I need to learn about bike mechanics. I have an old road bike I rarely ride. I could take it apart (I mean all the way) and then as part of putting it back together I could upgrade some components.

Why can’t I use Campagnolo with Shimano?

I apologize. It was not my intention to inspire deep thought. I knew the wheels on the bike were 27 because
a. it’s a really old bike
b. it’s marked on the tires
Campy with Shimano? mixed marriages require a lot of understanding and communication
