Bike position

Here is a recent race pic showing my current bike position. I’m planning to move the seat forward on the rails a few cm and take out a spacer. Would appreciate any comments/suggestions:

For comparison, here is my position a few months ago, before concentrating on rotating my hips forward:

Any takers?

Geez…get a part-time, weekend job and save some money to buy yourself a rear 404
.

Good job getting rid of that hump in your back. IS your leg that bent at the bottom of your pedal stroke? If so you might want to raise your seat a little to get the drop your looking for instead of removing spacers. Just a thought. I would definitely move your seat forward. It looks like you’re going to fall off the nose. Good luck.

Hehehe…actually I have a rear 404, but I rarely use it since my PT is in the 32-spoke open pro you see here. Come to think of it, maybe I should get a rear disc cover, sell the 404 and spend the difference on booze and hookers

Thanks mate, I actually raised the seat slightly between the bottom pic and the top one. In the top pic my far leg isn’t quite at the bottom of the pedal stroke. I think the seat post height is just about right now, but I might try a slight raise.

I pushed the seat forward, took out a spacer, and went on a ride tonight - felt fast. Power output was solid. I’m going to go with it for a while and see how it goes.

well you know if you move your seat forward you have to raise the seat.

I second your idea for a wheel cover on the open pro. Then you’re set. (Also like your idea about the booz and hookers ;^)

I would keep the saddle height the same as where you have it now (raise if you go forward, but raise to keep saddle height relative to BB the same)
.

Yup, saddle height looks unusually good

Since you were a little stretched out on the first photo, better in the 2nd, I would also slide the saddle all the way forward as well. Plus, the Stealth is a 76 degree STA and many people naturally end up riding near 78-80, so that should be more comfy as well.
