Completely unrelated. But in college one of the non-cyclist living in our house referred to OLN as bike porn. And riding the trainer as bike masturbation.

Over and over again people say that a tri spoke is the best front wheel. Why don’t they have a tri spoke on this bike? When ONCE was on Giants they all used tri spokes. They also seemed to ride pretty fast team time trials!
I’m sure whoever their wheel supplier is would be willing to make a tri spoke or have their logo put on a different company’s tri spoke.
One of the nice details on this bike is the chrome cable housing. That suff looks nice. There is a better shot of it on www.cyclingnews.com.

Remember this is the T-Mobike women’s team. They may not have the money for tri-spokes.
Also note that the difference between the best aero wheels is really small. Ullrich kicked some butt on a regular old deep rim in his TT victory in the TdF.
If Zipp is the sponser, they will be limited to what Zipp has to offer. Pics of bikes may not be the final offering come race day as well.
In college my buddies called my training bike my “wife” and my TT bike my “mistress”… lead to some lost dates when they told girls that I couldn’t come to the phone because I was out “riding his wife”.

There was another mention of the drunkcyclist web site on this forum a few weeks ago. At first I was bummed when the school’s filter kicked in, but when I got home and looked at the web site I’m glad the school has a filter!
