Bike photos/setups at TdG

Check out the excellent photo spread of the bikes used at the Tour de Georgia:

I am quite surprised to see so many clinchers using Michelin Pro Race tires. Also, looks like almost every bike has near zero stack height on the stem. The differential between seat height and handlebar height looks consistently extreme across all the bikes. There are also numerous bikes using non-shimano cranks, but the shifters seem to overwhelmingly be Shimano. Also lots of computers mounted to the stem instead of the handlebars.

Maybe Slowtwitch can get a photo spread like this at the Hawaii Ironman in the fall. The pictures really say alot about how elite athletes are setting up their bikes.

Wow, a lot of nice stuff. My favorite is the FSA aero post though

Funny stuff mobi! Maybe Gerard should look into industrial spying. . . It took him more than a year to perfect his carbon aero post but FSA brings out their own version and nobody knew they were heading into that market! ;->

I volunteer to take the pictures if Dan will pay my expenses.
