I’m looking for this plastic piece that clips onto the gear cables in front of the bike to hold them closer together. I don’t know what it is called, but I’ve seen it on road bikes before. Anyone know what I’m talking about?

No it isn’t a zip tie. I prefer this cable guide thing as it looks neater and I won’t always have to discard a zip tie every time I need it removed.
It’s an “S” clip. Most shops have them
LBS should have a couple thousand S-clips to share.
