Does anybody out there know of ANY available lower cost (how about $150 or less retail) carbon or aluminum alloy ROAD cranks (with chainrings) that come in 180 mm lengths?
I can’t seem to find any except Dura-Ace, Campy Record (Chorus too?), or T.A., which are all pretty expensive. This crankset would go on an all-weather training bike, so it seems a waste to put an ultralight polished masterpiece on it just to get the longer crankarms.
Actually, I am not looking for carbon cranks specifically; what I meant was that I am looking for any decent cranks made out of ANY material (except perhaps solid steel–I don’t want to pedal a brick here…).
In know for a fact that Quality is blowing out (year) 2000 Campy Record cranksets 175mm and 180mm for $109.00 (dealer cost)…you good buddies with your local IBD?
