I haven’t ridden my tri bike since IMC last year. It’s been a terrible year, training-wise, and I’m looking to get back into it. The TT bike will be my trainer steed for the Winter.
I don’t think there’s much to be done, other than a clean/lube/adjust. Would you do anything else to the bike prior to riding it?
if you’re only riding it on the trainer - get a steel skewer, open up the brake pads, and you’re good to go.
oh, yeah - pump the tires.

put a “trainer tire” on the back so you don’t ruin a good road tire.

why not put your normal bike on the trainer and leave the TT bike for now? unless you have only one bike then it makes sense.
Apologize to the bike for not riding it for a year.
Just like you would a good woman (or man) you had neglected for that long.

Too true… I’ve been remiss, and I feel bad… Such a good little bike, too…

I just want to say,
You are not alone, I’ve had an off year too.
Looking forward to getting back after it though!
