I am having hip/hamstring issues and have been bothered for about 2 years now. Lots of therapy has helped, but not fixed. I am now getting minor knee pain and was told to get a bike fit. I REALLY don’t want to pay 250-350 so i was wondering if there are any RECOMMENDED articles, videos, etc.

Ironmuffin, you’ve had hip & hammie issues for a couple of years, already paid for lots of therapy but don’t want to pony up for the fit up that may be the solution to your problem as you don’t want to spend $250-350.
believe me, I get it that money may be in short supply, but this bike fit may just save you the next years’ of therapy payments… but then again, it may not as your problems may be totally unrelated to cycling.
btw, there must be about a brazillion threads on bike fit here on ST, so the search function ( in the top right corner ) may be of assistance.
otherwise, this guy, even though he’s in Australia has some interesting stuff on his website.

best of luck with you hammies.
Yeah, very good points. Thanks!
Couldn’t agree more with Avago. I always think about the cost of a product or service and the benefit it provides. If a bike fit that runs $200-300 isn’t worth avoiding pain, suffering, medical bills etc. I am not sure anything we buy as triathletes is worth it!
I assume you are going to therapy under insurance so you are not paying for it or very little, as you don’t want to spend on the bike fit. I suggest you look around or ask for a rec from the therapy place for a PT that does bike fits. Or ask your primary for a referral. Go the insurance route. I’m sure you will find a creative doc to get you close to a cheap bit fit.
You can always do a ST bike fit…take a video, post it, and have members critique the fit.

And this is why healthcare costs so much. . . .
