Bike computer? (Not power; with cadence)

Any suggestions…just basics with cadence…Thanks
.

I have this one right now, and the cadence function works great.

Sigma 1606L DTS Wireless + Cadence

Cateye Astrale. Cheapish. Dependably wired. Rear sensor works on the trainer. Everything you need. Nothing you dont.

Are wireless reliable? It seems the way to go, as long as reliable. Thanks

I’ve been using the Cateye CDW-**** model (don’t remember the numbers – it’s the “double wireless” model with cadence). Never had a problem with it. The only thing is to make sure you “wake it up” coming out of T1…

I have the Serfas Level 3. Wireless cyclometer & cadence. Great price and its white which matches my white bike.

Second vote for Sigma 1606L DTS Wireless + cadence

third vote for the Sigma. I looked at several other computers, this was the best I could find at the time.

Cateye Strada Cadence (like the Astrale) has cadence and a rear wheel pickup, which is nice for trainer workouts.

I have found that the Cateye is not reliable with the cadence. I have owned three so far and two have stopped working with the cadence.

I had that happen wih one Astrale, but it was because I mounted a ‘front of the downtube’ bottle cage which pinched the wire–oops.

I have found that both the speed and cadence can be effected by moisture, which required that I wipe it during the ride and use WD40 to prevent it. On wet rides a plastic wrap covering prevents the problems.

I haven’t had the Strada long enough to comment on reliability.

I’ll second that one.
