Looking for a bike computer for a gift. Use is mainly on road bike on a trainer, not sure how much outside use therecwould be. Trying to decide between a cateye (not sure of model) or Garmin 500/510.
With the Garmin 500/510 if I use the speed and cadence sensor I can still get speed, distance through the sensors as opposed to GPS.
The cateye only gets data from the sensors correct?
What are the other differences between the Garmin and cateye? I dont have a specific cateye model in mind but would take suggestions on that as well.
