Any advice on a bike commute route from Hingham to Boston’s Financial District? Thanks.
i’ll be following this post with some interest as I live in scituate and would love to know of a relatively safe route. don’t know if one exists though with the construction on 3a of the hingham/weymouth bridge and that new fore rive bridge. I suppose you could go rt. 53, behind shipyard, but you would have to contend with weymouth landing. then there’s the neponset river bridge. then maybe morrisey blvd through dot into southie. a friggin mess the whole way.
but if you do find something suitable, let me know how often you would be commuting (i work in govt. center) and mebbe i could join you, if you don’t mind.

Your better off riding on a trainer. That area is to congested and to flat to get any good bike training in. Your simply wasting your time and energy.
I’m going to give it shot so I’ll let you know what I find.
